Jen learned to ride with many different instructors. All of these instructors taught her different aspects of horsemanship. Because of this, she is very open minded and knows when a different approach may be needed.
Jen is always looking to expand her professional knowledge and personal riding skills. She continues to lesson and clinic with other professionals as opportunity allows. They teach discipline, patience, teamwork, follow-through, initiative, competitiveness, friendship, work ethic, trust, purpose, and dedication.
Jen worked under Joe and Patty Forest for many years. There she learned the techniques for starting young horses and how to correct problems that arise with seasoned horses. She uses the Forest's techniques when working with horses of all backgrounds.
Jen has many years of teaching experience. She has taught students of all levels from beginner to advanced. She has taken many of these students to horse shows across the state with great success.
Jen attended the University of New Hampshire. There she received a degree in Equine Management as well as an additional degree in Business Management. She later went on to receive a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Granite State College. These degrees have given her a competitive advantage in the equine industry.
Jen believes that as a professional in the equine industry, she must remain ethical, honest and straightforward, no matter what comes her way.
Jen loves to be in the barn and is always happy to help someone with a question or concern.
